Maria Pia Casalena

Maria Pia Casalena teaches Women’s History at the University of Bologna. In her research she has focused particularly on the history of European women in the “long 19th century” and the history of women’s writings, especially epistolary or historical texts, as well as the role of Italian women in “cultural mediation” over the first half of the 20th century. Her publications include: Scritti storici di donne italiane.
