Giulia Bordi is associate professor of Medieval Art History in the Department of Humanities at the University of Roma Tre. Her research activity covers the field of medieval wall-painting and the interaction between architecture, liturgical furnishings and murals in the churches of Rome and Byzantium (4th-14th centuries), which she also investigates through the use of Digital Technologies. She is currently acting as the Department Director’s chief delegate to the Digital Humanities Lab and chairs the Horizon 2020 project EHEM, which seeks to create digital layered models of Medieval Architecture and Murals.
