Roberto Zaugg

Roberto Zaugg is currently Ambizione fellow of the Swiss National Science Foundation at the University of Lausanne. After studying in Florence and Naples he has taught for several years at the University of Basel and at Sciences Po (Paris). Moreover he has been visiting scholar at the University of Ghana (Accra) and Gabriel Monod fellow at the Institut français d’histoire en Allemagne (Frankfurt). His research focuses on Mediterranean and West African trade, migrations, autobiographical writings and colonial cultures.
