Maria Bucur

Maria Bucur è Professor e John W. Hill Chair of European History al Dipartimento di Storia della Indiana University. Ha scritto Eugenics and Modernization in Interwar Romania, Pittsburgh 2002, Heroes and Victims: Remembering War in Twentieth- Century Romania, Bloomington 2009 e, con Nancy Wingfield, Gender and War in Twentieth-Century Eastern Europe, Bloomington 2006, e Staging the Past. The Politics of Commemoration in Habsburg Central Europe, 1848 to the Present, West Lafayette 2001. Ha anche diretto, insieme a Francisca de Haan e Krassimira Daskalova, la rivista annuale di storia di genere «Aspasia».
