Georg Christ

Georg Christ is a lecturer in Late Medieval and Early Modern History at the University of Manchester after having worked for the UN in the Middle East and as a Research Group Leader at Universität Heidelberg. His current work focuses on trade embargoes in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Hanseatic realm, knowledge management and the Venetian diaspora in the Mamluk empire.
