Peter Edbury

Peter Edbury is Professor of Medieval History at Cardiff University where he has taught since 1977. His publications include William of Tyre: Historian of the Latin East (with J.G. Rowe) (1988) and The Kingdom of Cyprus and the Crusades (1991) as well as new editions of the legal treatises by John of Ibelin (2003) and Philip of Novara (2009). He is currently preparing a new edition the Chronicle of Ernoul and the Old French Continuations of William of Tyre.
