Evelyn Korsch is a Research Associate of the DFG-Project Material Culture and Consumption in Early Modern Europe. After receiving her PhD in history at the University of Zurich in 2009 (Bilder der Macht. Venezianische Repräsentationsstrategien beim Staatsbesuch Heinrichs III. (1574), Berlin: Akademie, 2013), she worked in several research projects on early modern markets. Currently she is affiliated to the University of Erfurt while completing her habilitation treatise on Armenian trading networks during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
