Victoria Avery

Victoria Avery is Keeper of Applied Arts at The Fitzwilliam Museum, University of Cambridge (UK). An expert in Venetian sculpture of the Cinquecento, her publications include L’Industria artistica del bronzo del Rinascimento a Venezia e nell’Italia settentrionale (2008; co-edited with Matteo Ceriana), and Vulcan’s Forge in Venus’ City. The Story of Bronze in Venice, 1350-1650 (2011), which was awarded the Premio Salimbeni in 2012.
