Ruth Schilling

Ruth Schilling is Junior Professor for the History of Science at the Universität Bremen (Germany) and scientific coordinator of the research and exhibition program at the German Maritime Museum/Leibniz-Institute for German Maritime History. Her publications include Stadtrepublik und Selbstbehauptung. Venedig, Bremen, Hamburg und Lübeck im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert (2012) and several studies on early modern physical practice.
