Francesca Aceto

Since 2016 Francesca Aceto has been scientific correspondent of the Historical Anthropology of the Long Middle Ages Group (Paris). Her research interests range from the history of science and education to the history of Italian art and literature from the 14th to the 16th century with special attention to the social and cultural aspects of ludic practice in the Mediaeval period and the Modern Age. She has recently (with Francesco Lucioli) edited Giocare tra medioevo ed età moderna. Modelli etici ed estetici per l’Europa, for the “Ludica” series, Fondazione Benetton Studi Ricerche-Viella, 2019.
