Francesca Aceto

Holder of a PhD in Medieval History from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris, Aceto’s contribution links in with her doctoral research focusing in particular on an analysis of the treaties De viribus quantitatis by the Franciscan mathematician Luca Pacioli (1445-1517) and more generally on the forms and functions of word and gesture in play during the period from the Middle Ages to the modern era.
