Carlo Campana works at the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana in Venice, where he is presently responsible of the historical archives (Ufficio Archivi Storici). He carried out research work in fields such as Medieval and humanist texts and topics, as well as book and culture history, with special reference to the Venetian framework. He is member of the Scientific Committee of the Centro di Studi Medioevali e Rinascimentali “Emmanuele Antonio Cicogna” and is associate member of the team which in France, within the scope of the Corsar Project UMR/CNRS 5037, is editing the critical edition of Paolo Sarpi’s letters.
