Colin Imbe

Colin Imber was Reader in Turkish at the University of Manchester until 2005. His work focuses on the history of the Ottoman Empire from the 15^th to early 17^th century. His publications include The Ottoman Empire, 1300-1481 (1990), Ebu’s-su’ud: the Islamic Legal Tradition (1997), The Crusade of Varna (2006).
