Gábor György Papp

Gábor György Papp works as a research fellow at the Institute of Art History, Research Centre for the Humanities, Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He wrote his PhD on the Hungarian historicist architect Koloman Gerster (1850-1927). His current research (supported among others by the OTKA Research Fund and the Bolyai Scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences) focuses on the emergence of the national idea and its reflections in the arts, architecture and historiography in nineteenth-century central Europe.
