Silvana D’Alessio

Silvana D’Alessio is a Researcher in Early Modern History at the University of Salerno. Her major interests of research are the Neapolitan revolt of 1647-1648, the figure of Masaniello (Masaniello. La sua vita e il mito in Europa, 2007), political thought and medicine in early modern era (Per un principe «medico publico». Il percorso di Pietro Andrea Canoniero, 2014), the plague in Naples in 1656 and, more recently, Traiano Boccalini and his readings.
