Ana María Prieto García

Ana María Prieto García has a PhD in Modern History (2018) and a degree in Humanities (2010) from the University of Extremadura. Her line of research is framed within the studies on family, focusing especially on matrimonial strategies. She is the author of different published works, such as, “Familia y endogamia en el mundo rural extremeño durante la Guerra de la Independencia”, Tiempos Modernos, Revista Electrónica de Historia Moderna (1, 2008); “La nupcialidad soyana: análisis demográfico, 1750-1850”, Cauriensia (10, 2015); “An approach to ecclesiastical and state interventionism in matrimonial matters in modern times. The case of a population of Extremadura: Hoyos”, Estudios de Historia de España (18/2, 2016); “Metodología, técnicas e instrumentos para la explotación demográfica de los registros parroquiales”, Ibersid (11/1, 2017).
