José Carlos Rueda Fernández

José Carlos Rueda Fernández has been Professor of Early Modern History at the University of Salamanca (Department of Medieval, Early Modern and Modern History) between 1991 and 2015. Currently, he is retired professor at the mentioned university. His research interests and works focus on different aspects of historical demography (local and regional studies, epidemic cycles, regional migrations, etc) and on economic and social history. Recently, he carries out kinship studies through diocesan sources (marital dispensation records) and parish registers.
