Erika Grasso is a cultural anthropologist and research fellow at the University of Turin. Since 2011 she conducts research in northern Kenya where she investigated the evangelisation processes of nomadic populations in the region. Later, her doctoral thesis focused on the urban space in the small center of Marsabit. She enquired its relational nature in relation to ethnic and national belongings. Today, she is working as a cultural anthropologist and curator at the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography of the University of Turin.
