Rosanna Tramutoli is a post-doc research fellow at the University “L’Orientale” of Naples. She is currently conducting research on Bantu lexicography and working at the compilation of a Swahili-Italian dictionary and a Zulu body lexicon database. She completed her PhD in Swahili linguistics at the University “L’Orientale” of Naples in a cotutelle program with the University of Bayreuth. Her PhD dissertation’s topic is the codification of emotions in Swahili from a cognitive linguistic perspective. She has recently published in the journals Research in African Literatures and Swahili Forum with contributions on the analysis of metaphors of emotions in Swahili.
