Ecaterina Lung

A medievalist and Professor at the Faculty of History, Department of Ancient History, Archaeology, and Art History, Ecaterina Lung also directs the Centre for Medieval Studies of the University of Bucharest. She has been a Visiting Researcher at the Centre d’Histoire du Christianisme, Université Jean Moulin-Lyon 3 (2001-2002) and is a member of the Committee of the International Society for Cultural History. Her main scientific interests include cultural history, medieval art history, gender studies and historiography. She edits the history journal of the University of Bucharest (Analele Universității din București. Seria Istorie) and has authored books and articles published in Romania, France, Italy, Spain, Morocco and Georgia
