Katherine Aron-Beller

Katherine Aron-Beller insegna Storia ebraica alla Rothberg International School della Hebrew University alla Tel Aviv University. Le sue ricerche vertono sui rapporti tra ebrei e cristiani, sull’inquisizione italiana e sull’antisemitismo. Ha pubblicato Jews on Trial: The Papal Inquisition in Modena 1598-1638, Manchester, Manchester University Press, 2011; con Christopher Black ha inoltre curato The Roman Inquisition: Centre versus Peripheries, Leiden-Boston, Brill, 2018 e più recentemente Christian Images and Jewish Desecrators: The History of an Allegation 400-1700, di prossima pubblicazione. Negli anni 2013-2020 è stata co-editrice di H-Judaic Jewish studies network (https://networks.h-net.org/h-judaic) e attualmente è Visiting Scholar al Stephen Roth Institute for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism and Racism.
