Álvaro París

Álvaro París is a Juan de la Cierva Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Zaragoza. He received his PhD from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2016) and has been a postdoctoral fellow at the Universities of Toulouse-Jean Jaurès and Clermont-Auvergne. His research focuses on popular politics, counterrevolutionary movements and royalist militias in Southern Europe and Spanish America (1789-1848). He has edited three special issues for various journals (Claves. Revista de Historia, Investigaciones Históricas and Jerónimo Zurita) and published numerous articles and book chapters.
