Annachiara Monaco

Annachiara Monaco is a postdoctoral researcher in the History of Italian Language at the University of Naples Federico II. As a member of the ERC project DisComPoSE, she is currently investigating the linguistic representation of natural disasters in popular printed texts, with a particular focus on the 1631 eruption of Vesuvius. Her research interests also include Italian vernacular historical writings and 20^th-century literature.
