Donal Cooper

Donal Cooper is associate professor of Italian Renaissance Art at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on recovering historic contexts for viewing artworks in the late medieval and Renaissance periods, an interest he has pursued through a series of digital modelling projects spanning fifteen years in collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum and National Gallery, London, and the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge. In collaboration with Professor Fabrizio Nevola (University of Exeter) he is co-investigator on the florence4d.org mapping and modelling project funded by the Getty Foundation.
