This year, Anna Bellavitis (Il lavoro delle donne nelle città dell’Europa moderna) and Maria Paola Zanoboni (Donne al lavoro nell’ Italia e nell’ Europa medievali, secoli XIII-XV) indepently from one another published their books on female work in Europe in different periods. On that occassion, we bring together the two authors in a seminar that seeks to investigate the economic roles of women in pre-industrial Europe.
