The article repeats the presentation to a course held in 2006 on
Christianity’s history. First, the author recalls studies produced by
scholars that have worked at this University, starting with Ernesto
Bonaiuti. Furthermore the author deals with some problems closely
related with Christianity: its birth, its historical and religious
development, the transformation from the Jewish Jesus to the
Christian religion, the role of St. Paul, the Sacred Scripture and,
finally, the discrepancy between rabbinic Judaism and Christianity
born around I and II century.
