Al confine tra immagine e parola, tra testo e superfetazione visiva del flusso digitale, il saggio cerca di descrivere e interpretare la presenza e il riuso delle immagini della Commedia nelle arti performative, dal cinema delle origini fino all’attuale esplosione degli inferni tecnologici, deflagrata nella rete e nei videogame. Nella parte finale del saggio, l’autore si chiede se sia possibile trarre un film dalla Commedia.

At the borderline between image and word, between text and visual superfetation of the digital flow, the essay tries to describe and interpret the presence and the reuse of images of the Commedia in the performing arts, from early cinema to the actual explosion of technological hells, burning wildly on the web and in videogames. Is it possible to make a film out of the Commedia?, the author asks himself at the end of the essay.
