Il tema della tomba degli amanti nella Tavola Ritonda a confronto con la tradizione tristaniana francese e castigliana
The article examines the theme of Tristan and Iseut’s tomb in the Tristan legend, focusing on the
gurative and narrative value of the sepulcher. The author analyzes some of the texts that present the clôture visuelle of the lovers’ death (Tristan en prose, Tristán de Leonís, both versions of the Tavola Ritonda). Special attention is given to the Tavola Ritonda, which multiplies the sepulchers emphasizing both the ritual and the symbolic exchange between death and image.
