Cavalcanti alla Tavola Ritonda. Appunti sulla mimesi del verso nella prosa romanzesca
The paper examines the relationship between prose and verse in the tradition of the Italian roman. It focuses particularly on the Tavola Ritonda (14th century), from two different points of view: the lexical influence of the poetic language and the relationship in formal and stylistic matters between the tradition of “verse novels” and the early prose compilations.
