Lettura stilistica di Rerum vulgarium fragmenta 310 («Zefiro torna e ’l bel tempo rimena»)
L’articolo procede da un esame del tema paesaggistico nei Fragmenta, abbozzandone una tipologia, sul parametro della sua funzione rispetto al soggetto, per arrivare progressivamente all’interpretazione del sonetto 310, nel quale il paesaggio, cessando di prestarsi alle proiezioni del soggetto, si sottrae all’investimento simbolico e diventa una sorta di segno opaco. L’analisi tematica è incrociata con quella formale, che finisce per suggerire, sotto l’apparente contrapposizione tematica tra il contenuto delle quartine (il ritorno della primavera) e quello delle terzine (il ritorno dei sospiri), una lettura disforica del testo.
The article starts by examining the landscape theme in the Fragmenta and outlining a typology based on its function with respect to the subject. It goes on to arrive at a progressive interpretation of sonnet 310, in which the landscape no longer serves to project the subject but sheds its symbolic aspect, becoming a kind of opaque sign. The thematic analysis is combined with analysis of the form, which ends up by suggesting a disphoric reading of the text, by apparently counterpoising the thematic content of the quatrains (the return of springtime) with that of the tercets (the return of sighs).
