Si esamina la pertinenza del concetto di «eteronimia» (inteso non solo in quanto pseudonimo cui l’autore conferisce un’esistenza reale, ma anche in quanto “disseminazione poetica di significati-chiave”). Gli esempi prescelti sono fra i più significativi attribuibili a Guglielmo IX, Jaufre Rudel, Cercamon, Marcabru e Chrétien de Troyes.

The article provides an overview of the concept of heteronymy and its relevance when the texts of the early troubadours and trouvères are examined. The examples, selected among the most peculiar cases ascribable to William IX, Duke of Aquitaine, Jaufre Rudel, Cercamon, Marcabru and Chrétien de Troyes, show that «heteronyms» are not merely pseudonyms reflecting personalities invented by the authors, but they belong to a special class as a dissemination of key meanings.
